Certifications

Notably, one of the most important aspects of an exporter to be considered a partner of choice for spice importers is to possess the right internationally accredited certification. It is recommended that an exporter covers all certification requirements of the target market to have a better competitive chance of being the exporter of choice.

All our farms have been inspected and certified organic since 2005 by the Swiss Institute of Market Ecology (IMO) and since 2017 by the ECOCERT SA. All our activities and products comply with the European Union and US (NOP) regulations. The certification process is organized through our Internal Control System (ICS), under which we have field officers and internal inspectors for every region. We conduct regular internal inspections and maintain detailed records of farm activities, which are backed up by 3rd party inspections from internationally accredited certification bodies.

Value Propostion (VP): The welfare of the farmers is central to our operations. We have ensured a close and transparent relationship with farmers by bringing the processing and export activities closer to the farmers. The community’s living standards have improved because both men and women have an equal opportunity to participate in the spices production and trading processes.
